Ayr School Council is a very active group of parents who volunteer their time and efforts to improve the school experience for the children at Ayr P.S. All parents and guardians are welcome to join. The beauty of School Council is you decide how much time you have to share (if it is some time each week, two afternoons a year or work on a special project such as ECO day, we are happy to see you and include you in the improvement of the school experience).

We meet eight times a year, presently on a Wednesday evening, usually the second Wednesday of the month. The School Council helps organize our fundraisers and our annual “Spring Fling” event. They also discuss items that are of concern and impact the students at Ayr (such as Homework policy or dress code). They also get to decide where we spend fundraiser money and share their ideas. Please consider joining our School Council we would love to have you.
