Thank you to all the families that were able to join us for the wonderful Christmas assembly yesterday. The kids (and staff) worked hard to prepare and that certainly was evident in the fantastic performances!
I want to thank all of our staff for their commitment, dedication and for sharing their passion for learning with the students each day. I want to thank our amazing students for their energy, enthusiasm, curiosity, kindness and hard work. Ayr Bears really do CARE. I also want to thank our school community and our School Council for your partnership and support. Between the days of giving, the mint smoothies, Chapters, Terry Fox and the candygram fundraisers, this school raised:
• $480 towards nutrition for learning
• $2500 towards technology in our school
• 189 pounds of food donated to Neighbours Helping Neighbours
• Many boxes filled with clothing and gifts donated to the Ayr Food Bank (special thanks to Grandma Berry for the bag full of hand knit mittens and hats also donated!)

On behalf of our staff, I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy holiday! However you celebrate this time of year, we wish you peace and joy, and all the best in the New Year!
