Hello families of Ayr Public School!

I just wanted to thank our awesome school community for a wonderful finish to this school year! It was a fast-paced spring, filled with many incredible opportunities for our students! Thank you to our wonderful students for working so hard and engaging in rich learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom. Thanks to our amazing staff for working so hard to support the students each and every day! Thanks also to the support of our School Council and our families! We value this partnership and look forward to continuing working together next year!

Thanks to the generosity of our School Community, we were able to raise almost $600 that was split between support for families in Fort McMurray and our very own Greening Initiative Project. I am enjoying my new summer hair cut!

We were so excited (as were the students), to have three members of the 2015/16 Schmalz Cup Championship Ayr Centennials (Jake Whibbs, Mitch Figerieudo, and Jordan Pettit), join us at our closing assembly to speak to the students about setting goals, working as a team, and the importance of good sportsmanship! They also rang our school bell at the end of the day to officially launch the summer vacation!!
